Clip 3 of 6: The Espers have stormed the capitol, attacking the airship in it's warpath towards Vector. Now that our heroes have crashed next to a nearby town, they start to head to Vector to see what exactly has happened and if in fact the Returners advancement will be successful. By the time they finally reach the city limits, they can see the sheer destruction laid by the angered Espers..

So when they finally make it to the city, they are met by armed guards who lead them directly to Gestahl, who is so frightened by the recent events, that he is now asking for his once sworn enemies to join him in his attempts to reach out to the angered Espers and beg for their forgiveness...
