Final Fantasy VI - No Magicite/No Relic Run - Stream 03 - Part 4
0This is my third stream for Final Fantasy VI which was hosted on December 24, 2015 at 0900 EST and went on for roughly three hours before stopping.
My goal is to find out how hard the game is to beat without using Magicite which grants the ability for all characters to learn every spell and acquire stat boosts upon each level up. To add more misery to pain, I am denying myself Relic (or accessories) which also grant boons to characters in battle and can sometimes break the challenge of the game.
Since this is a echo of a Twitch stream, there are going to be some technical issues such as missed frames and dropped sequences due to bandwidth issues as well as audio level inbalances, most should be eliminated by now however. Despite this, please forgive those and enjoy the playback!
In this 8-part stream, the whole team is gathered together to fend off against Kefka and the empire's army from stealing the Esper in Narshe. After the battle is won, Tetra has a reaction to the Esper and flies off into the blue. We form two teams, one to stay behind and defend Narshe while the other goes in search of Tetra. We come across Kohlingen, Jidoor and finally Zozo. Along they way we learn some more about our characters. At the top of Zozo's tallest building we find Tetra but she is unresponsive. An Esper Ramuh tells of a horrid Magitek Facility on the continent to the south where an Esper may hold the key to bringing Terra back. So we head south to find a way to cross the ocean...
