This is my ninth stream for Final Fantasy VI which was hosted on March 17, 2016 at 0900 EST and went on for roughly three hours before stopping.

My goal is to find out how hard the game is to beat without using Magicite which grants the ability for all characters to learn every spell and acquire stat boosts upon each level up. To add more misery to pain, I am denying myself Relic (or accessories) which also grant boons to characters in battle and can sometimes break the challenge of the game.

Since this is a echo of a Twitch stream, there are going to be some technical issues such as missed frames and dropped sequences due to bandwidth issues as well as audio level inbalances, most should be eliminated by now however. Despite this, please forgive those and enjoy the playback!

In this 8-part stream, we begin the long, arduous journey through the Phoenix Cavern trying to find Loki. After some harrowing near defeats we find out his search for the Phoenix was only partially successful. With him in our party, we travel underground via Figaro Castle to find the Ancient Castle, the site of a great war of the Magi to acquire some nice weapons and skills. We then quickly stop back at Narshe to pick up the Ragnarok and head over to Triangle Island to be sucked up by a Zone Eater and meet a mysterious mimic named Glgmesh. We finally put to bed all the demons that have been haunting Topaz since the death of his wife and child by sleeping in the very castle where they died.
