Final Fantasy VI Pixel Remaster Episode 13: The Esper World and Sidequestin'
2Okay, not exactly sidequests plural, but extras now that we can get them with the airship. Definitely Esper World, though, in a flashback that tells of Terra's parents, how they met, and how Terra ended up back in the human world. Once, that's all finished up, we get the airship and get to head off to find three missable espers, Seraph, Golem, and Zona Seeker, as well as heading to Narshe for a little main story and a lot of sidequest to unlock an optional party member, Mog!
And speaking of Mog, I definitely messed up learning the dance at the end of the episode. If you're trying to learn a new dance, do NOT use one of Mog's dances because it effectively changes the location of the battle to a place Mog has already learned a dance from. Just use attacks and magic and skip the dances when you're in a new place. Also, a quick tip if you want to learn a bunch of dances all in one run, head to the Returner's Hideout, jump into the Lethe River, and follow the path you had to travel before to get Sabin back to South Figaro, then head back through Mt. Kolts to get back to where you stashed the airship next to the Returner's Hideout. It takes a while to finish, but you can get Wind Rhapsody from grassy places, Forest Nocturne from forests, Water Harmony from Lethe River or Serpent Trench, and Earth Blues from the top of Mt. Kolts. All that's left that can be gotten now is Desert Lullaby from any desert (I went to where Figaro Castle originally was) and Love Serenade from Zozo and you'll have seven of Mog's eight dances! The eighth can't be picked up until later in the game, so I'll make sure to pick that up as soon as I can to finish them all out.
