A lot happens here. We returned to the lonely isle where Cid lives (or not, if you let him die), to get another magicite. Then we find the ancient castle under Figaro castle. We get the awesome Odin esper, and upgrade it to Raiden, since Meteor can be learned from another magicite later on.

After that, we visit Duncan (he lives!), and get Sabin's ultimate technique. Finally, we head out for some dinosaur-hunting, in hopes of building a powerful party. We die a few times, but the xp and gains are worth it.
