A playthrough of Shenzhen Nanjing's 2005 unlicensed role-playing game for the NES, Final Fantasy VII.

This is the second part of a two-part playthrough, beginning in Gongaga and running through the end of the game. The first part can be found at https://youtu.be/iBq9jBHnyt0

I came away from this game thoroughly impressed. It is held back a bit by the janky skeleton of the original release (like the enemy stat balancing at the end... oof!), but there's something that's charming about seeing such a thorough recreation of a big budget 32-bit game running on the ol' 8-bit toaster.

Some timestamps for your convenience:
Arriving at Cosmo Canyon 22:21
Fights and date night at The Gold Saucer 3:32:50
Temple of the Ancients 3:53:36
Aeris's bad day 4:37:33
Cloud and Tifa do Nibelheim 6:22:09
A one-winged angel 8:22:56
The finishing blow and the ending 8:51:34

Nothing has been cut, so there are a couple points where I grind my levels in preparation for the end. Also, please note that, like for part one, I had to mute Aeris's theme and the boss fight music because of copyright stuff.
