Final Fantasy VII Remake Let's Play - Tifa Is Still The Best Gal Around (Part 02)
Hello and welcome everyone to Final Fantasy 7 Remake!!! I have been waiting for this long before it was finally announced in 2015 at E3. I started searching constantly around 2005 about a potential remake for the game as the original was and still is my favorite game of all time. After so many years of rumors and flat out lies the day finally came. My excitement was at an all time high and now it's finally here. Final Fantasy 7 Remake. Just typing this makes me emotional. The game holds such a special place because it was really the first thing I experienced that really gave me an idea of how a fake fantasy world can shape you as a person and expand your creative abilities in all sorts of things. After playing the original as a young kid for just a few hours I started to create my own worlds with characters and monsters that I would draw and then make it into a sort of board or card game. And now I am in the process of creating my very own video game with tens of thousands of pages filled with history, myths, characters and everything else that comes along with it. All of that started with this, way back in 1997. Anyway, enough of all this. Let's get into the game itself.
Just to let you know, I wrote all of this 3 weeks before the release. I decided not to play the Demo that was released and I have avoided nearly every single thing that has been put out there about the game. I know the combat will be more in line with an action game which I very much like the idea of. If I want a turn based game I have plenty of options, especially with the Dragon Quest games out there as Dragon Quest XI turned out to be one of my all time favorite games. I also know that the Remake will be split into multiple parts which again I am in favor of. We will be getting tons and tons of expanded areas, stories and character arcs that I feel will really make the world better than any of us ever imagined. Other than those 2 things there isn't much else aside from a handful of early screenshots that I've seen. Wait, I know the first installment of the series will be focused solely on Midgar. Now that is all of it.
The world of Final Fantasy VII is fleshed out pretty well by the original game and the various sequels to it. There was a movie, Advent Children, that I enjoyed and still watch every now and then, it's a good movie. There were a couple other games that came out, those being Crisis Core and Dirge Of Cerberus. I liked Crisis Core a lot and I did not really like Dirge Of Cerberus very much. There were also a few shorter animated series that I watched and enjoyed quite a bit. Overall most of the extra content about the characters and world was good, at least in my opinion.
Alright I think we should wrap this up. I am extremely excited for the game and I'm sure many of you are as well. This means so much to a lot of us and I can't wait for all of us to take this journey together. I'll see you guys in Midgar come April 10th! Have an amazing day and thanks for stopping by.
