Squall is awoken and freed after being tortured,by small lion creatures called Moombas. Meanwhile,Zell brings back the weapons he retrieved earlier. Set up junctions now,you fight enemies when you're done. Biggs and Wedge have been demoted,and will fight you now. They're only slightly tougher than they were on Disc 1,but more importantly,they have a lot of new spells you can draw from them,including Haste and Regen. After the fight,they sound an alarm,and monsters are released in the prison. Now you have to fight your way upstairs. On Floor 13 you'll find Squall,and he'll rejoin the party. Zell operates the lift for the others and takes them to the bottom level,however it turns out this prison is underground,and cannot escape down there. Everyone then rushes upstairs to help Zell out. Just as everything seems helpless,Rinoa and Irvine show up to save the day.
