This is when the stages start to get a little annoying. New enemies include a giant anglerfish thing that can only be hurt on it's lantern,walking icicles that you can piledrive and use as a stepping stone,and large enemies that are immune to regular punches. The trapdoor areas aren't too bad,but you'll most likely have to go through the level several times to get everything. Especially the gold statue pieces on the icy slopes. This stage's boss is a giant Medusa head. Don't look at it when it's eyes glow red. It will try to freeze you with icy breath,shoot lasers,and make shockwaves. Stun it by tossing it's rocks into the lava and causing an eruption,or let it freeze you and attack when it comes after you. You can also hit it after it uses shockwaves.
