6Recap: Clasko, unsatisfied with his new life in the Youth League, asks to join Yuna's journey on the Celsius to look for his true calling.
Further down the road at Djose temple, the Al Bhed machine faction has taken over and is running a dig Bikanel island from there. Gippal, the leader of the machine faction, interviews Yuna, Rikku, and Paine. He's surprised Yuna wants to work for him, and seems to recognize Paine from somewhere. Gippal agrees to hire them, and gives them a letter of introduction to show on Bikanel to get started.
On the Djose highroad, the Gullwings help escort a Hypello caravan to the Moonflow as it gets continually beset by bandits. Once there, they meet Tobli, who thanks them profusely for their help.
The Guado have left Guadosalam, fleeing to Macalania woods to escape a possible Ronso retailiation for their prior actions. Guadosalam has become a hub for sphere hunters. Leblanc makes her home there. After some tweaks to the lightning-controlling towers, the Thunder Plains are much safer to cross. Yuna runs across Tromell deep in the woods, who is still in despair over his role in Seymour's uprising. Upon hearing that she's a sphere hunter, he gives her a valuable sphere that he no longer has any use for.
The party comes upon a group of Al Bhed debt collectors at the Macalania travel agency, which apparently has been purchased by O'aka XXIII. They spot O'aka slinking off, whispering to them to say he was never there. They chase him down through the woods, finally cornering him. He tells his story of buying the agency, then the temple sinking into the lake, and his business with it. They agree to let him hide out on the Celsius until he can raise the funds to pay off his debt.
