This video shows how you can defeat Nemesis in little time with only Quick Hit in the North American or Japanese version of FFX. In the International or PAL versions, you cannot do this because Quick Hit has a higher delay.

Since my party has 99,999 HP, Nemesis cannot damage anyone by more than 50% of their max HP, even if he focuses his attacks on one party member. Tidus needs a customized weapon to ensure that he always does 99,999 damage to Nemesis. If he uses the Caladbolg, his attacks will weaken when he loses HP.

Note that Regen heals the party for 18,930 HP between each of Nemesis's turns, which is enough to heal back all the damage (and then some) from Ethereal Cannon or Nemesis's physical attack and 21% of the damage from Ultra Spark.
