Final Fantasy X featured plenty of innovation when it launched on the PlayStation 2. It had fantastic FMV sequences, much improve graphics and for the first time in a Final Fantasy experience, voice acting.

Unlike Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within, Squaresoft decided to cast voice over professionals, as opposed to Hollywood A-Listers, some of which were still quite early on in their careers.
