59Part 112 - Recieving Caladbolg and collecting the Sigil.
First off, I hope you have Sun Crest previously shown after the fight with Yunalesca.
Secondly, I hope you got the Celestial mirror I showed in previous part where to get.
Got any problems with the Chocobo Race?
Some things to consider and know -
At the start of the race, make sure you always check where the balloons are, especially the first one.
If the first one is on the left side, it's pointless trying to get it.
Infact, if you do try, she'll still get it and you'll end up behind her... It's game over at that point.
Getting as many Balloons as possible at the starting cliff is crucial to get below 0 seconds. Don't even bother trying with the rest til you get this right.
Let's say the starting balloon is on the left side. Then the next one is pretty much guaranteed to be on the right side.
Leave the left one alone and just head for the right one.
Do this and she will end up behind you!! And then you are free to collect everything on this cliff.
After you're down from the cliff you will have birds swooping down on you.
First off, the birds do not only take 3 seconds off, they stun you for about 2 seconds as well.
Don't risk getting stunned over a balloon because a Balloon is not a worthy trade for getting hit.
So the most important thing after the cliff is to practice the dodging.
The easier way to dodge is the way I think I displayed in the last race. You can quickly go to the side and dodge them and keep on track or if you get a lot of them on you and there's no big loss in Balloons, you can head far to the side for an easy dodge.
JUST REMEMBER the edges as he'll stop there and go the other way and cause you to get stunned if you were trying to dodge.
That's all there is to it. Dodge the birds the best you can, then it's just a matter of getting some Balloons at the same time.
