You can fight this battle as soon as you've defeated Bergan, but I wouldn't recommend doing it too early, because it's a tough one!
First, you need the Stone of the Condemner which will be given to you by an Acolyte near the steps to the Gran Kiltias' Chamber, with that in hand, you can return to the Stilshrine of Miriam and head to the Way Stone there, which will be guarded by two new enemies.
