Gurdy has a little challenge for all Hunters across Ivalice, to take down the legendary Trickster! And it is a Tricky opponent indeed!
It has a 30% chance to appear in the Frozen Brook of the Paramina Rift, Monid will be there for the battle and will let you know when the Mark has spawned.
Once you start the fight, you'll quickly notice that the giant Chocobo can hit quite hard, it also has shifting Elemental affinities, being weak to one Element and absorbing the others and shifting this everytime you manage to hit its weakness, so non-elemental weapons and Magicks are the way to go.
When low on HP, it will make itself immune to status ailments, then to physical attacks and will start using the powerful Choco-Meteor on you! At this point, I... forgot that the Paling also nullified Quickening Damage and so my long chain and Black Hole Concurrence ended up doing nothing... but at least I got that done!
At this point, your best option is to have a Black Mage cast spells such as Bio, Shock or Scourge to finish the beast.
