Previously, the party visited Marquis Ondore and found themselves "transported" to the Dreadnought Leviathan. There, they freed Princess Ashe from the brig. Now, they have to escape the ship and hopefully find Penelo.
We resume in Brig No. 1 aboard the Dreadnought Leviathan.
The Chocobo is new in the Sky Pirate's Den. It is awarded for taking over 50,000 steps. The player earns the title of Wayfarer.
The party visits Tetran in the brig (time 0:53). They pick up a Zwill Blade for 1,800 gil for Ashe to use when she has the license.
A scene takes place when they head out to the Central Brig Access (time 1:26). It is time for the party to make their escape.
We gain control of the party after the scene (time 2:09). The alarm will be blaring on the way out. It is especially bad in the PS2 versions.
The party goes out to the Airship Berth Access (time 2:18). The enemies will just keep coming as long as the alarm is going. The Imperials do drop gil, but not a lot.
Basch reaches Level 12 (time 7:33).
They exit south to the Large Freight Stores (time 9:55).
Fran reaches Level 13 (time 10:26).
The party uses a Security Station (time 11:33). They choose to reset the alarm. Unfortunately, the alarm will only stay off for 60 seconds.
In the southeast coffer downstairs, the party finds another Shepherd's Bolero (time 12:10). Nice!
The party heads north to the Port Section (time 12:38).
A scene takes place as they progress through the zone (time 12:46). They catch up with Penelo and Larsa. Vossler leaves the party, while Penelo rejoins the party. Larsa gives Penelo a piece of Manufacted Nethicite.
We regain control of the party in the Port Section (time 14:16). Penelo rejoins at Level 13, relative to Vaan's Level 12. Otherwise, she is as she left. She picks up some new licenses: a Gambit Slot for 15 LP, a Gambit Slot for 25 LP, a Gambit Slot for 40 LP, a Gambit Slot for 20 LP, Mystic Armor 3 for 20 LP, Mystic Armor 4 for 25 LP, Staves 2 for 25 LP, Black Magick 4 for 30 LP, Black Magick 5 for 40 LP, a Magick Lore for 30 LP, Channeling for 30 LP, a Magick Lore for 30 LP, Martyr for 30 LP, Accessories 3 for 25 LP, Ether Lore 1 for 20 LP, Accessories 5 for 35 LP, and Magick Lore for 30 LP. Vaan picks up Swiftness for 50 LP. Balthier picks up Ether Lore 1 for 20 LP and Charge for 30 LP. Fran picks up Black Magick 5 for 40 LP. Basch picks up Inquisitor for 30 LP and Shield Block for 25 LP. Ashe picks up Swords 3 for 35 LP for Zwill Blade, as well as Martyr for 30 LP.
Penelo equips the Cherry Staff, a Pointy Hat, a Shepherd's Bolero, and an Orrachea Armlet. Ashe equips the new Zwill Blade. Fran equips Parallel Arrows and a Pointy Hat.
Before heading to the Port Launch, they set a party of Vaan, Fran, and Ashe.
The party exits to the Port Launch (time 18:57). A scene with Judge Ghis takes place.
After the scene, it is boss time against Judge Ghis (time 20:07). Three Imperial Swordsmen appear behind the party, so get rid of them fast. Not all that difficult, but he does cast Aero, an AOE spell.
A scene takes place when the party defeats Judge Ghis (time 21:18). Vossler shows up with some welcome news.
A cinematic scene plays as the party makes their getaway aboard an Atomos (time 21:52). Smart, Fran.
The party lands back in Bhujerba (time 22:33). Ah, that Balthier! Based on Basch and Vossler's advice, the party will revisit Marquis Ondore. Meanwhile, Vossler has something of his own to do. Huh.
We regain control of the party in the Bhujerba Aerodrome (time 24:09).
On Travica Way, they talk to the Bhujerban Sainikah at the exit to Ondore's estate (time 24:49). They choose to go in for another audience.
Another scene takes place at Ondore's estate (time 25:03). Unfortunately for Ashe, his answer is not what she hopes.
The next scene takes place at the Strahl in the Aerodrome (time 27:32). Fortunately for Ashe, Balthier proves easy to persuade.
Another scene takes place in Archades, the imperial capital (time 29:53). The emperor does not seem well. He is also in a quandary.
We rejoin the party in the Dalmasca Westersand (time 33:30). The Strahl certainly has some useful aftermarket features. The party must now head far west to Raithwall's Tomb.
