In the event that both Enki and Enlil target the same character, Retry.

Immediately throw a Librascope, and then cast Deprotect-Poison-Deprotect. Repeat and execute early to get two spells. Throw a Potion, and evaluate your situation; if you are missing either Deprotect or Poison, or you do not have sufficient chain, shift to Undermine and Repeat until you do; if all is good, shift to Dualcasting. Stagger Enki and chain to at least 270% before shifting to Divide & Conquer. When Sazh finishes his first Attack string, cast Poison x3 and then throw a Potion. ATB refresh after Sazh's second string, timed to cancel his ready animation. Kill Enki.

After Enki is dead, Enlil will attack more frequently, so throw Potions after every attack unless you are certain you won't die otherwise. Shift to Tide Turner and cast two Deprotects in hopes of inflicting one for chain duration. When both characters have Enwater, shift to Undermine and work on Poison. When that is done, shift to Dualcasting and stagger. There will be a lot of issues and variability here, depending on Enlil's attacks. Once he's staggered, shift to Divide & Conquer and keep him interrupted, alternating Sazh's Attacks with Vanille's Poisons to maintain stunlock.

This fight is sometimes called the "hardest easy fight"; the idea is pretty simple, but one misstep in the execution could lead to game over.
