Blitz to get some immediate chain duration. Bravery and Enfrost on Sazh to exploit damage multipliers. Then we play a game of chaining and Blitzing until Vanille luckily inflicts Deprotect and Poison. With Deprotect, you can focus more on Blitzes post-stagger, but Poison is a nice thing to have, too. Unless you get really lucky with debuffs, it's quite likely stagger will end before you are done; just focus on Blitzes instead of chaining (unless you are still missing Deprotect, or the fight took long enough for it to wear off).
