This fight may be a tad difficult to learn. If you are unable to consistently kill before stagger ends, feel free to throw in extra Ruins before stagger for chain stabilization.

After the first Efflorescence, Aster Protoflorian will do two physical attacks followed by his seed burst attack. If the two physicals have the same target, his seed burst will always be on the other character; otherwise, it's unclear. Potion whenever Hope is hit (unless you know the next attack will hit Lightning). Lightning can take two physicals before needing to Potion. After the seed burst, Protoflorian may immediately use Exoproofing, or he may use another attack, so pay attention.

Exoproofing: Fire is the worst exoproofing, since Blizzard is the only elemental spell Lightning lacks (besides the irrelevant Aero). In this situation, chain to roughly 180%, and then sit in COM/MED while waiting for the next Exoproofing, spamming Ruins.

Exoproofing: Lightning is okay, but the worst of the good three. Exoproofing: Water is cool because Odin will use Thundara for added chain. Exoproofing: Ice is really cool because Hope will use Fira for added chain. In any case, the goal is for Zantetsuken to bring the chain to 999.9%; at that point, Zantetsuken will instant kill when Aster Protoflorian has fewer than 42,291 HP, which is roughly one-third of his maximum HP. If the chain is less than that, you will obviously need Protoflorian to have fewer HP in order to kill.
