Gestalt conditions: amass chain bonuses; heal wounds; cast buffs as SYN.
This fight is easy: start in [1] to cast Protect on everyone. Then switch to [2] and [3] if you need healing while amassing chain bonuses. Alexander shouldn't even get close to killing you with a SEN on the guard all the time, so you should get an easy win.

You'll get the Alexander Eidolith after the fight, and Hope will gain his fourth ATB gauge segment.
