Do yourself a favor and just spam warp strikes. Anything else will get you knocked off the cliff. Keep in mind if you approach them, they'll kick you and also knock you off. With warp strikes you avoid this entirely. Don't forget to equip rainbow pendants to avoid confusion status, don't warp off a cliff accidentally like I did, and you're good to go.
