Previously, the party finished up the available hunts in Altissia. They returned to Hammerhead and did the two hunts available there, including "Serpent of the Abyss". Now, they will do some other newly available hunts around Lucis.

After resuming, they visit the tipster in the Crow's Nest Diner - Longwythe at Longwythe Rest Area (time 0:37). They take on the hunt "In the Drylands, It Rains Spines". The targets are three Gigantuars at Longwythe Peak during the daytime.

Before doing the hunt, the party drives north to the Abandoned Barn parking spot (time 1:28). They arrive after a short drive (time 3:07).

Northeast of the parking spot, they camp at Pallebram Haven (time 3:59). Ignis prepares Quillhorn Soup.

In the morning, they drive back to the south (time 6:17). They pull over near the hunt's target area northwest of Longwythe Peak (time 7:00).

Along the northwest side of Longwythe Peak, they find the three Gigantuars for "In the Drylands, It Rains Spines" (time 7:36). Look out for needle attacks from these prickly characters. They can drop Cactuar Needles for upgrading the Auto Crossbow.

After the hunt, the party starts driving back to Longwythe Rest Area (time 10:42). They soon arrive (time 11:30).

They report in to the tipster at the Crow's Nest Diner - Longwythe (time 12:05). "In the Drylands, It Rains Spines" complete! The party earns 3 rank stars, 7,550 gil, and a Rainbow Pendant.

Then, the party fast-travels west to the Wiz Chocobo Post in Duscae (time 12:44).

There, they check with Wiz (time 13:21). However, they need to gain another rank before they can do his next hunt.

So, the party fast-travels to the Cauthess Rest Area (time 13:45).

They talk to the tipster at the Crow's Nest Diner - Cauthess (time 14:17). They take on the hunt "Baby Snatchers". The targets are three Bussemands and five Hobgoblins at Saxham Outpost during the nighttime. The party chooses to rest until nightfall. They also take on the hunt "A Daemonic Orchestra". The targets are seven Ereshkigals in the Kelbass Grasslands during the nighttime.

At the Regalia, the party begins driving west towards the Saxham Outpost (time 15:37). They pull over north of the farm (time 16:52). From there, they head south into the farm.

On the way to their hunt targets, the party hears someone calling for help (time 18:35). This starts the rescue quest "Down On Your Luck".

East of the farm itself, the party finds the targets for "Baby Snatchers" (time 18:51). Garuda blows in and helps take them out.

Then, for "Down On Your Luck", the party finds the person in distress east of the center of the search area (time 21:20). They use a Potion on him. "Down on Your Luck" complete! The party earns a base of 1,500 EXP apiece and 6,000 gil.

Then, for "A Daemonic Orchestra", the party continues driving west (time 23:25). They park at the Coernix Station - Cauthess (time 23:53). From there, they use their chocobos to venture northwest into the rough country.

In the southern Kelbass Grasslands, they find the target Ereshkigals for "A Daemonic Orchestra" (time 25:33). A bit annoying, but not too bad. After defeating them, the party rides back to Coernix Station - Cauthess.

Then, they begin driving back to the Cauthess Rest Area (time 29:22). They arrive after a brief drive (time 30:37).

They report in to the tipster at the Crow's Nest Diner - Cauthess (time 31:09). "Baby Snatchers" complete! The party earns 3 rank stars, 8,890 gil, and a Mega Phoenix. "A Daemonic Orchestra" complete! The party earns 4 rank stars, 14,800 gil, and a Mega Phoenix. There is another hunt available right now, but the party will do it a little later.

Next, the party drives west to the nearby haven (time 32:19). They pull over on the Perpetouss Keep access road (time 33:13).

At Fallaughns Haven, they wait until morning (time 33:51).

Then, the party fast-travels to Taelpar Rest Area (time 34:25).

They visit the tipster at the Crow's Nest Diner - Taelpar (time 34:58). However, the next hunt is not available yet.

Next, the party fast-travels to Old Lestallum (time 35:22).

They visit the tipster at the Original Crow's Nest Diner (time 36:00). They take on the hunt "Herald from the Depths". The target is a Karlabos at the Leirity Seaside. They also take on the hunt "Starving Beast Seeks Food". The target is an Aspidochelon at Lower Wennath. Finally, they take on the hunt "Scrap It Now!" The targets are three Leukorns in the Coernix Bypass during the daytime.
