I ummed and ahhhed about whether or not to play through the start of the game again, but everything I could find on the matter suggested that there were zero differences between demo and opening of the game, so I just loaded up the demo save and went from there. My first steps into a brand new mainline Final Fantasy game.

Camera issues still abound in this episode, alas. Single frame flickering on occasion. As I often do, I talk you through all this kind of stuff while also trying to offer insight into my thoughts, feelings, and reactions to events unfolding in the game.

Chapters are provided for your convenience. MQ for main quest, SQ for side quest, anything else is just something interesting I wanted to highlight.
