I never uploaded runs leaderboard runs before because honestly I feel the strategies are not too interesting to watch, but after the new update is has released and basically did nothing to change the strategies for high scores, I feel that I want to start sharing footage so that hopefully SE can actually visually see the problems with the current scoring system, so this is basically a proof of concept. Even though I think this might be somewhat bland to watch, I do enjoy the process of coming up with strategies and actually executing them so I do still enjoy going for high scores, it’s just not the way I expected it would be for this games combat system.
As for this run in particular, it’s a bit sloppy, especially at the end because I still haven’t come up with a rock solid strategy for the second leg of this mission yet and I probably could have beaten my best score if I didn’t hesitate too much since I wasted my items early in the run due to sloppy play.
To break down the strategy here. Ice Age is absolutely busted due to its low damage and high bonus when doing collateral hits on 4 or more enemies. You abuse this in mobs. Against the mini boss I utilize an interesting strat I’ve never seen before by using steel parry into ice age, this triggers a couple of bonuses from parrying and chaining into an Eikonic ability from a parry. The rest of the strategy is using AoE Ultimates to get easy points in certain scenarios although I think that using ultimates before the second leg is a bit lazy and I could come up with a better scoring strategy. Overall this is the general strategy that has gotten me rank 1 but there is actually still plenty of room for improvement, especially considering how sloppy my play. I think I can net 14,000,000 easy and maybe even 15,000,000 if I can really optimize the 2nd leg.
