Final flight of Apache Mk1 on Operation Clockwork before retirement
The British Army’s Apache Mk1 is undertaking its final deployment before standing down from duty.
After years of service in the British Army, Operation Clockwork will likely be the helicopter's final mission.
The Army Air Corps is replacing the Mk1 helicopter with the newer Apache Ah-64E model, which is fitted with upgraded sights and sensors, as well as having a superior performance in the air.
