This game radically transformed the Zelda franchise, not only in terms of game design or structure, but also by introducing the concept of a Zelda timeline: a timeline that's about to experience something absolutely groundbreaking!!

We are Link, the boy in a land where our peers never grow up (yet is somehow considered the only one there who isn't a "real man"), only to discover that we have been tasked with the monumental task of saving the world from the clutches of the evil Ganondorf! The young princess Zelda enlists us to help her get the three magical stones she needs to beat Ganondorf to the wish-granting Triforce, which will prevent him from seizing total control of Hyrule!
