In which we find a solution.

I realized I forgot to talk about that scene with Neil, Roxanne, and Rob at the end, but I didn't have time to record again. So I'll just talk about it here. Obviously Roxanne and Rob know about whatever Neil is doing, and they seem okay with it. Which means either it's something good, or all three of them are okay with doing some shady stuff. They talked about "her" being the "solution". My theory on that involves the copy of Faye that Neil made. Maybe Neil is trying to find a way to use Faye, or some sort of program inspired by Faye, in order to have the machine fulfill people's wishes without the need for human intervention. We know from the minisodes that there have been people protesting outside Sigmund Corp for a while. I'm not certain what their specific grievances with the company are, but I imagine that many people are worried about the invasion of privacy involved with Sigmund Corp's services. If they manage to find a way to remove the human element from the wish-fulfilling process, that could help to alleviate some of those concerns. Of course, this is assuming that Neil is actually working on improving the machine. We really don't know what he's doing with it yet, and whether he's doing it to help the company as a whole or for some more personal reason. I guess we'll just have to wait and see.

Finding Paradise is the 2nd full episode of To the Moon's series. It follows the life of the doctors' new patient, Colin, as they attempt to unravel a life that is split down the middle, and fulfill a wish that appears to be self-contradictory by nature.
