1Most of this isn't really necessary, as it won't advance the game or story, but even though there's no combat, this is still an RPG. So for me, I'm still inclined to check all the items in the environment to see if I find something out. That's become such a prominent part of what you do in RPGs, which I don't often think or complain about, but it's not the most thrilling thing in the world to do. Especially since it's taking away from time that could be spent bashing enemies and casting obscenely strong spells.
