Finding Paradise Let's Play Part 8 - It's Not You, I Just Wish My Life Was Better
In retrospect, these moments and tension between Colin and his wife wind up being rather unnecessary. If someone were to use the service offered at the heart of this game, it would raise questions and doubt for the surviving family members to tangle with. Sure, who wouldn't have some unfulfilled dreams or bucket list activities, but to actually go through with this end of life wish fulfillment suggests significant regret, or at least a pining for the path not traveled. Seeing how the path in life they took led to the development of their family, paying to live out another sequence of events is a slap to the face for everybody else. Perhaps that's only my way of interpreting things, but I would think this action would be very perturbing and harmful. After you find out what all this was for, I think many would agree with me that it was both petty and foolish to care so much about it. I imagine the series might create some nonsense about how this was more important, but I don't really care, because to me it's really stupid.
