Chapter begins at 01:45
I would like to resume this chapter in three simple words: FUCK. THIS. CHAPTER.
I forgot how ridiculous this stupid thing is if you wanted Zealot/Jerrot, Noah and Trec all alive for whatever reason. I'm not even kidding when I was about to say "fuck it" and go on without Trec because I was sick of trying to save him from kamikazing his stupid ass.
Rrrrgh... Okay. This sole chapter is the reason why I went through the troubles and resets of getting Roy into an actual combat machine. Roy HAS to pull his own weight here as every character counts if you want to save those three stooges.
The first couple of turns are decisive here, but it's COMPLETELY up to luck if Trec is doing to survive long enough until you get to him and Noah is in a similar situation because how fucking stupid the generic unit AI is.
The Wyvern Riders are a HUGE problem. They're mobile, strong an very tanky, without a Mage or Archer there's not way you're going to bring any of them down in one round, even one turn can be hard enough.
At Turn 10 things can easily take a turn for worse since four Cavaliers will appear, three of them are trivial, but one will be a Level 15 with a Silver Lance. You DO NOT want have anyone in his range when they pop to fight. Curiously the first batch of reinforcements won't act immediately as they appear, but the later two WILL, so watch out.
Once you get close to the boss more reinforcements will appear; two Mages, four Soldiers and two Archers, don't try to overpower them as those guys are pretty well equipped: Mages have Thunder, the Soldiers have Javelins and Steel Lances and the Archers Steel Bows.
The boss is another Knight, so yeah, Rutger away with an Armorslayer. Dieck/Deke or Roy can work as long as they weren't fucked by the RNG.
Once everything is done I do some shopping, item management and finally make Thanny/Shanna and Sue hit the Arena Gym to keep up with everyone and level up Clarine a bit in the process as well:
Sue (L10) - HP 25 / Str 10 / Skl 14 / Spd 15 / Lck 6 / Def 6 / Res 0
All things considered Sue is already giving Wolt a run for his money. It's no wonder why people are so eager to bench him. Sue is way ahead in Str and pretty well in Skl and Spd, her HP is also pretty good.
Thanny/Shanna (L10) - HP 24 / Str 10 / Skl 12 / Spd 20 / Lck 12 / Def 6 / Res 8
This is a FANTASTIC Thanny/Shanna. She's two levels ahead of Tate/Thea but better or on par with her (and her Hard Mode bonuses) in everything but HP.
Clarine (L8) - HP 19 / Mag 8 / Skl 10 / Spd 13 / Lck 13 / Def 2 / Res 7
Clarine is shaping up extremely well for her future Valkyri-ness duty. That Mag 8 is almost mesmerizing to see at Level 8 (though not as cool as Ellen with Mag 8 at L10).
