Fire Emblem Awakening - Hard Classic Speedrun - 58:00 [5/5 - Endgame]
I'm Rexy, I remix game music, and I just so happen to be decent at videogames. I'm mediocre at speedrunning though but I do them to challenge myself sometimes =)
This is the final part of a sub-hour speedrun I did on Fire Emblem: Awakening on the 3DS. All major comments about it can be seen in the first part.

ENDGAME:
Dear God, the Endgame. You would've seen all my failed attempts at this part - for some reason I couldn't attack Grima in less than 3 turns and in all attempts Chrom wouldn't attack, which is strange because of the S support and high Skill sum. I did everything possible to handle that one - lots of tonics, whatever Anna's been selling, extra tomes... I did however get one run in which only MyUnit attacked and a bunch load of criticals brought Grima down in 2 turns (KEEPING OLIVIA ALIVE YEESH), but the camera battery died during the credits and had to redo it again.
Then after many more failed attempts, it finally hit me.
CHROM CAN'T EQUIP THE EXALTED FALCHION AUTOMATICALLY. Yep, apparently putting the Rapier into storage doesn't help here; no idea how the game does this, but it does.
Either way, onto the run for real. Stopwatch brought in to catch the final time.
For MyUnit, I had a few runs where my dying Thoron stopped me in the middle of one assault, so put that away. Reclassed back into Dark Knight for the Defense boost;I don't know how but no matter what I couldn't survive the first turn with Dark Flyer.
Map itself went awesome - down in the first turn too without any major damage from the others. Chrom even co-operated nicely too! Timer stops when I select who deals the final blow, and it's quickest to just say no and let MyUnit finish it off.
Also, please excuse the vid to be 2 minutes of speedrunning and 20+ minutes of ending. xD
So yeah, I reached my goal! Now I guess I'll watch someone decimate the time on SDA or something, but I'm glad I pushed through with the task nevertheless. Guess that joins Gex and Sonic Colors in the speedrun-break pile - fun to pull off too, if not a little over-reliant on luck.
I guess you guys may want a new remix or two soon, eh? It'll happen, just gotta keep building up strength x) Thank you!
