At some point during the summer, I found sudden musical inspiration coming from a weird place, that being the final story of Sonic 2006. Now, I still have yet to play the game (but I DO have a PS3 now, so... o_O), yet in spite of this I saw good musical ideas from the "End of the World" stage, hence this mega-cocktail of madness!
So, we know the setup. At this point, Solaris is engulfing time and space, and it's up to Sonic's friends to go looking for the surprisingly-still-intact Chaos Emeralds if they need to stand a chance in stopping him... or it... or whatever that thing is, lol. The source material was already dynamically broken up nicely, and I saw it as a change to reflect on the individual characters' feelings and character as they went and pursued the individual Emeralds alone.
At this point, I see it as one of my artsiest arrangements for some time, as well as one of my most complex Reaper setups at this point too. It also had some advance play during the summer via Sonic Radio (which Livestream broadcast got the first play) and later Radio SEGA, so odds are some may be familiar with it already. But now it's there to wriggle your way into your music libraries :D
