Fire Emblem Engage Draft Race week 5
0I joined a draft race of Fire Emblem Engage. So let's go.
Rules:
#1 This season will be 9 weeks long. Three chapters should be completed each week, with the exeption of the 1st and 2nd weeks which shall be 4 chapters. You are not forced to submit chapters every week. At the end of week 9 you need to have fully submitted all chapters, you will get a 5 turn penalty for each day you are late.
#2 This season we're doing an Iron Man run of Fire Emblem Engage. The goal is to complete the game with your drafted units. If multiple players beat the game, the winner is determined by # of resets used, followed by turn count. Because this is an Iron Man, you cannot reload to change outcomes (e.g. hit/avoid rerolling), and you will have 5 resets to use throughout the run. If a unit dies they're gone for good and if you reach a game over with no resets left you will have lost.
#3 You may use the time crystal, but every use of it will cost you a reset.
#4 The draft will be a free snake draft. Each coach will draft 8 units.
#5 Coaches are not requried to draft a certain type or quota, their team composition is at their discretion.
#6 Alear, Seadall, Framme and Clanne are free units, every player can make use of them.
#7 Vander is free to use up to chapter 7. To use him in chapter 8 or beyond, you need to draft him.
#8 Etie is free for chapter 3, Celine, Chloe and Louis are free for chapter 4. You get one free undrafted unit of your choice for chapter 5 and Yunaka is free for chapter 6.
#9 The run will be played on hard mode.
#10 Paralogue 1 and paralogue 2 must be played. Paralogue 1 must be played after chapter 5 and paralogue 2 after chapter 6. All other paralogues are free chapters and won't cost turns unless you spend more than 20 turns on them. Then they will cost a turn every turn you spent over 20.
#11 Undrafted units may do the following provided they are force deployed: trade, visit villagers, meatshield (see enemy phase combat without counterattacking). You can't deploy undrafted units.
#12 Undrafted units may not do the following unless otherwise stated: combat, activate supports, open doors or open chests.
#13 If you take illegal actions with an undrafted unit, you are assigned a 4 turn penalty for that chapter. This penalty will be applied to every action taken with an undrafted unit.
#14 Glitches or exploits will not be allowed.
#15 Most functions of the somniel can be freely used. But the tower of trials, cooking, amiibo gazebo, training yard and the ancient well are banned.
#16 Standard training in the arena can only be used after main chapters. You can't access the exp training in the arena after paralogues (including after paralogue 1 and 2). You also can't reset till you win for the extra experience. Emblem training can be used freely.
#17 Skirmishes are not allowed to be done at any point in the game.
#18 Only C rank bond rings may be used. They can be used in any way you want.
#19 No DLC content is allowed. None of the engage rings, items, chapters or units can be used or played (You are expected to discard the money and items forced upon you by the dlc).
#20 You have to play your chapters unconnected from the internet.
