Video footage of me playing Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance for the Gamecube!

We finally reach the endgame of this very long playthrough. Even with battle animations turned off, this game can take a while, but finally, Ike and Elincia confront Ashnard after lots of hardship and turmoil. After being wounded, Ashnard had a final ace up his sleeve and touches the Medallion for even more power, but with the help of Ike, Nasir and Giffca, along with our other trusty units, we were able to finally stop him. Sadly, we did lose Rhys in the endgame, but it was totally my fault putting him in range of two units AND having him lose speed from equipping Nosferatu. His services will never be forgotten! Thoughts on my units:

Ike - Great unit - unfortunate weapon choice. However, 2-range Ragnell is amazing. I got a weirdly Defense-blessed Ike that doesn't happen very often, so he was very rarely in danger this run.
Boyd - Amazing - well-deserved of my top unit. I felt he levelled nicely throughout. Sometimes, I just have a bad Speed or Skill Boyd that turns out unusable. I was actually worried about his strength during the mid-late game, but yeah, he was amazing. Too bad Oscar never amounted to much with his bad level-ups.
Rhys - Great healer. There are just so many Physic Staves that I feel I don't need to raise Mist and turn her into a Valkyrie to keep up with the healing unlike in some Fire Emblems. Raising him is never a chore because he sees constant use throughout the game. Too bad I lost him in the end.
Titania - Was never part of my main squad, but she is just the best unit throughout the chapters IMO - amazing early, great mid, still holds her own towards the end.
Mist - Literally used her ONLY to try and help us get Nasir. Her level-ups were pretty terrible. She literally had skill issues - the stat stayed at a measly 8 for the longest time. She pulled her weight in 27x though.
Marcia - Similarly to Boyd, she was pretty great. I pushed her too hard at times to the point where she risked dying, and for some reason I never capitalised on her support potential with Tanith.
Tanith - Also amazing. She honestly out-performed. Her base stats and excellent mobility were a welcome edition.
Bastian/Lucia - Honestly, these two were along just to support Ilyana and Volke, but I remember them helping do some nice chip and get some critical hits in. They definitely helped out.
Elincia - Similarly to Volke and Lucia, she was there mainly for support, but with 9 movement and Staves, she was definitely a welcome edition. Her use with Amiti was extremely limited at that point in the game.
Volke - Useful steal potential, but terrible combat, especially towards the end. I could not rely on the extra crit that his Stiletto weapons provided. I enjoyed him stealing all of the Physic Staves.
Ilyana - Very squishy at times, and her damage output was mitigated by her lackluster speed, but was very solid against slow units, and had somewhat reliable critical hit ratios. She made a solid Soren replacement.
Reyson - I cannot oversell his ability to rejuvenate four units at a time whilst transformed. A simply amazing unit.
Giffca - Only here for one chapter, but he is such a beast. He's actually my favourite character in both games, FYI.
Nasir - I have never actually put Provoke/Wrath/Resolve on a character, but with his natural tankiness, it worked out incredibly well. He drew Ashnard's attention and went to town with the damage he dealt. I've seen in similar playthroughs that Ena can do the same, but I was fortunate enough to take down the BK.
Ulki - I was determined to make him useful, but his Speed was always a constant source of frustration, along with his lack of 2-range making enemy phase limiting for him. Still, I was happy enough with his performance.

Thanks for watching, and I hope you enjoy!
