It is time for a paralogue, and this one is on every route, this one is Forgotten Hero, it is Marianne's paralogue. Byleth finds Marianne being accused by a Crest Scholar about a Wandering Beast that appears every night, and he learns about Marianne's Crest, which is said to be cursed, they enter a forest filled with Demonic Beasts, and they must take down the Wandering Beast in the forest area.

As for the rest of the description, I recommend watching the full video before reading past this point of the description

I did cover this paralogue on Crimson Flower, but I did it with another paralogue, and to spare description space, I decided that on this route I will explain about this route if you are following any Black Eagles playthrough, even though I did do this paralogue on other routes as well.
This is a fog of war map filled with Demonic Beasts, so you will need to give some of your units Torches to fight the Demonic Beasts, some of them can poison your units.
We then learn about the Crest of the Beast, which is otherwise known as Maurice's Crest, and he was one of the forgotten heroes who was said to have erased from existence, much like how Byleth has the Crest of Flames, which is said to have not been seen 1000 years ago since the defeat of Nemesis. The Crest of the Beast raises Mt by 5 when using a weapon, and as Marianne has that Crest, this can be good if you are using her as a Falcon Knight, and it does pair well with the Levin Sword. Even though her Crest is kept a mystery until this route, you can get the Storm Dragon Sign and use the Crest of the Beast earlier on your other units on New Game +.
Marianne will be placed away from your other units, and the Wandering Beast will not attack, so try not to move Marianne away from the Wandering Beast until you have removed most of the other beasts on the map. He does not start attacking unless you have Marianne attack her.
I recommend using Combat Arts that deal bonus damage against Monster units, and save some Gambits for when you fight the Wandering Beast. One Wild Demonic Beast has a Giant Shell when defeated, and for other items, a Sniper and a Dark Bishop will both drop an Antitoxin each, and a Bishop will drop a Hexlock Shield, and this is the one that has Physic to heal the Demonic Beasts.
The boss of this map is the Wild Demonic Beast, and if any unit other than Marianne enters his range, he will start attacking, he has Crest Stone (Beast) for attacking, and for abilities, he has Magic Bind to prevent magic attacks to inflict silence on magic users, Heartseeker to decrease Avoid by 20, Renewal to heal 20% of maximum HP at the start of each turn. The Anti-Magic Armor is a barrier that protects him from magic attacks, Vital Defense negates critical hits when his barriers are active, and for each of his health bars, on his second half bar, he has Armored Blow to give him +6 Defense when he initiates combat, he has Death Blow on his third health bar, which gives him +6 Strength, and on his fourth health bar, he has Defiant Str, which gives him +8 Strength when his HP is below 25%.
This is a tough opponent, so save some Gambits for this guy, his Staggering Blow is Heavy Strike, which inflicts rattled status onto targets in range of the move, and he has a lot of HP and Strength, so it will take many hits to take down this Wandering Beast.
After completing this paralogue, you will get Blutgang, a Hero's Relic tied to the Crest of the Beast, and as Marianne has that Crest, she will be able to use Beast Fang, a Combat Art that deals bonus damage against cavalry and dragon units, and it has a high crit rate. Blutgang is also a magic weapon, but it doesn't have the range that a Levin Sword has.
You will also earn a Battalion for completing this paralogue, Edmund Troops is a B Rank Battalion that has great endurance, and it provides a great boost to Hit, and decent boosts to Strength, Magic, Protection, Resilience, and Charm, and the Gambit is Flash-Fire Arrows, so this can be a good Battalion to equip to a unit that needs to extra hit rate.
