Time to make some preparations before we go to Fort Merceus and stop the Imperial Troops, and see if we can put Hilda's plan to good use, which is disguise as Imperial Troops and see if they can allow us to enter Fort Merceus. As it is known as the Impregnable Fortress, we might encounter some more challenging opponents we have fought so far in the adventure.

As for the rest of the description, I recommend watching the full video before reading past this point of the description

There isn't much to go over with this video, as it is mostly filler, but I could go over my class choices on some of my units, and the use of New Game + to get skills and Combat Arts, and Byleth learns Windsweep at A Rank in Sword, this is a very useful Combat Art, because that will prevent the target from making a counterattack, so this can help against units that cannot be taken out in one attack, so you can use it to weaken them a bit.
I do try to master a bunch of classes, like Brigand on Leonie to get Death Blow, and I promoted Sylvain to Wyvern Rider so that I can equip him as an adjutant to Byleth or Hilda, and I did work on the Flying skill for most of my units to get Pegasus Knight for some of my female units. I might not end up mastering Pegasus Knight on Marianne for Darting Blow if her main role is to be a healer, but it was more of a side class to work on, so I find the Knowledge Gem to be helpful in mastering classes. I did prioritze on getting War Master for Raphael so he can get Quick Riposte, which is a great skill for him, as that will allow him to guarantee a follow-up attack if his HP is above 50%, and this works well with his high HP stat.
I did get Meteor on Hanneman, and that will be very useful for Linked Attacks, but out of the Golden Deer units, the only units that can support with him are Marianne and Lysithea, so they get the bonus from a Gambit with Hanneman, and I went with Dark Knight for his class, the difference is that Dark Knight gives him extra mobility and Canto, while Warlock gives him extra spell uses in Reason magic. I have heard about players using Hanneman as a Sniper or a Bow Knight, and while his Strength stat is not that great, and he does get some good Bow Combat Arts like Schism Shot at C+ Rank in Bow, this will lower the target's Res by 5, so this can be good in letting your other magic users finish off a weakened opponent, and with A Rank in Bow, he can get Ward Arrow, which prevents foes from using magic for 1 turn, Ignatz can learn that as well, and this can be good in preventing mages from attacking. With Ignatz, I gave him Lethality and Poison Strike to help him either weaken opponents or take them out in one hit, and I found his high Dexterity gives him a higher chance of getting critical hits, and Ignatz can get both Rally Speed and Rally Strength, which is good if you can get Ignatz to S Rank in Authority, because earlier in the game, Raphael was the one that has Rally Strength, it will take a lot of work to get Ignatz up to S Rank in Authority, but it might not be likely in this playthrough, and I have decided that Sniper will be his final class, because he can use Hunter's Volley to allow him to hit twice.
I have read about Hanneman as a Grappler, and while it is not recommended because he doesn't have a good Strength stat, he can use Aura Knuckles, which are a type of gauntlets that use the magic stat to calculate damage, this shows how well you can customize your units to whichever class you want them to be, I have not tried the Aura Knuckles yet, and I wasn't sure if it was a weapon that is exclusive to DLC, but you will need Arcane Crystal and Steel Gauntlets. Through forging, you can get rare weapons, those are Mercurius, Gradivus, Hauteclere, and Parthia, those require A Rank in their respective weapon class, Mercuris being Sword, Gradivus being Lance, Hauteclere requiring Axe, and Parthia requiring Lance, and they require Mythril to forge, and they are powerful weapons.
There is a scene at the end of the month, and we learn that the Death Knight is guarding Fort Merceus, and he is the very one that kidnapped Flayn back then. In the scene with the Death Knight, Caspar and Linhardt will appear if you didn't recruit either of them, which does hint that we will have to fight them. Very fitting that we celebrate Mercedes's birthday before that scene, and unlike Azure Moon, there is no unique scene in that route, but if you did her paralogue with Caspar, there will be something different with the fight with the Death Knight.
