Fire Emblem: Three Houses S1 E48 (146) Part 1
1Byleth never indulged Jeritza's rivalry, but the death knight measured himself against the professor's skill. Mercedes' fears her half brother, but is mostly saddened that they will be on opposite sides of the battle. Dimitri for his part is attempting to mark the end of fort Merceus' impregnability. We are dealing with a wide and open map, but the enemy units rather than the terrain will constrain us if we let them due more to scale of the enemy forces. I am afraid that if I activate the wrong pod the death knight will charge out unexpectedly. This seems like a hard map, but I believe that our troop quality will carry the day. The enemy has well positioned siege equipment.
The death knight was selected to defend Merceus due to his propensity for violence, and strength. He has set a rather competent defense of the massive fort. If the empire loses this fort they will be unable to project their power abroad similar to how they have been stifled in the west. I feel like the point of this map is to force us into being flanked, however we can avoid this to a point that I am not so worried. There are many openings in the map, so I am wary of separating my forces to the pain of isolating one of my units to a mass of enemy attacks. I am a little cagey about this map, due to the siege arms' role on controlling the field beyond our points of initial contact. Playlist information is provided below.
**NOTES** Okay so our western movement was a complete waste of time, fortunately Ingrid and Ashe were able to incorporate themselves into the main effort eventually. We were able to knock out the first siege unit due to our superior magician Mercedes, thankfully. Those are some big old beasts or Bobs. In any case, those Bobs are not able to affect us that much although they do have critical hit chance on their side at times. These episodes are normally scheduled for noon EST. We are currently sitting 34-13 we had two episodes off air affecting our count, and our MVP will be determined in the next episode. Part two is uploaded.
