Before this chapter, I changed the system voice to Camilla, and for this chapter, I use Xander for one of my units, I wanted to give Xander a chance, and I went with this map for that.
The song that plays on this map is Requiem, and in this battle, Darios has a red aura, he can easily overpower your units, so do not try to fight him right away. There are four Dark Crystals which are powering him up, and he can heal off the damage if you try to fight him, so your main test is to remove the Dark Crystals, they are guarded by Sages, and defeating them will remove the Dark Crystals, allowing you to fight against Darios.
Throughout the battle, Outrealm Fiends will appear where Darios is at, and for sub missions, the first one is to capture the Fire Orb forts, doing that will increase support points with Elise. A bunch of reinforcements will spawn, and they will try to take any of the Fire Orb forts, defeat them to defend the forts.
After defeating the Sages, it is time to fight against Darios, he is very powerful at first, but if you reduce his health after beating the three Sages, he will fully restore his health, and an Outrealm Sentry will appear, three of them, they are Fafnirs, and after a minute, some portals appear and Outrealm Fiends will spawn from them endlessly, up to 12 can appear on the map at once, defeating the Outrealm Sentries increases support points with Xander.
If you removed all of the Dark Crystals, and Darios has restored his health, he will no longer have an aura around him, making him much easier to take on, it is possible to fight him with the red aura, but it is not recommended, as he can easily take down your units if you try to fight against him.
Darios does drop a Master Seal after defeating him, and you can get Anna's Memento for defeating 1000 enemies, it is found south of Upper N Hall. You can get a Chest Key for defeating a Cavalier, and you can get Mend in two different ways, you can only obtain one, you can get it either from a chest in NE Tower or defeating an Outrealm Sentry.
We then go through a cutscene where Darios is back to normal, and it turns out there is a new threat that has come, there are still a few chapters left in this game.
