During the French & Indian War there were unit's formed in New England called The Snowshoe Companies. Their job was to scout out the wilderness of New Hampshire, Massachusetts and Maine for hostile Indians and protect frontier settlements of colonists. In a series of videos I'll show you what kind of wilderness skills these men needed to survive in the woods during these long scouts.
