In Episode 1, we introduce the game "Firefight", and the Battle of France campaign. We review French tactics and weapons used in 1940. And we look at the controls for playing Firefight.

In this series we use the missions in the game Firefight to illustrate one or more aspects of French World War Two infantry tactics at the company level and below.

Each episode we conduct basic mission analysis, develop and analyse possible courses of action, then decide and execute the plan in real time, followed by lessons learned.
