With the arrival of the dry season, wildfires in Guaxupé and the surrounding region have increased, affecting the environment and the health of the population. In August alone, the 2nd Fire Department registered nearly 80 vegetation fires. The operation was supported by the Military Environmental Police, Civil Defense, and volunteer firefighters.
