Firmware 2.2, release by Gamo2 was completed before SEGA announced the PC version.

It is basically out of pure luck that the Switch Arcade mode works natively due to the way it was implemented.
However, I believe a small tweak is required to get PS4 Arcade mode to work. At the moment it doesn't. So there could be another future firmware update to resolve this.
It means you need to play with Switch menu navigation icons despite the controller having PS4 icons on it for now. Though honestly I prefer circle to be accept anyway. To me that is the lesser of two evils.

Basically now you can chose PS4 or Switch DAO modes and emulate by mapping buttons on steam, or chose Switch Arcade mode and get the true Arcade style slider gameplay without touching the button mapping in steam. After you install the firmware please let me know if the Switch Arcade mode doesn't work for you.
