I was going to wait a while to pick this one up, but my brother mentioned he was going to buy it. It’s one of the few games he ever got into because of me, and I have to thank him for providing this copy. So far, this first hour feels less like Borderlands 3 wacky world and something more like a cross between BL1’s understated tone and BL2’s focus on a central villain. Thankfully, the gameplay is a further refinement of BL3, and that’s a welcome continuation. I’ll be looking forward to the loot grind in the future!
