First Impressions On: Dino Strike

On this episode of First Impressions, we're shipwrecked on a dinosaur island after a wicked storm takes out our ship's instruments before tearing it apart. We awaken on a beach covered in pieces of old ships, and are contacted by a pilot who's part of search and rescue mission for a missing scientist. So, with a pistol in hand we start blasting our way inland, through a bunch of barely competent raptors. Leaving the beach behind, we head into the forest with the intent of reaching the volcano that lead our ship to this island. Here we pick up a Thompson Submachine Gun, and have to deal with pastel colored InGen-style Dilophosaurs. However the jaunt across the plains is cut short when a T-Rex busts onto the scene, forcing us to jump in the river. Slapping together a raft, we then drift downriver while being hassled by Pteranodons and raptors trying to hitch a ride.
