On this episode, I take a look at the dusty third person shooter set in a ruined Dubai. In the game a massive and cataclysmic event has wracked the city of Dubai, leaving it an empty shell of its past opulence. However, a Colonel Konrad and his men refused the order to abandon the city, in order to continue the evacuation. After 6 months without any word, a small recon force is sent into the city to investigate what happened. What they find is a whole different world, a rough Mad-Max like society, run by the surviving members of Konrad's 33rd. The game is meant to be a modern re-imagining of Joseph Conrad's Heart of Darkness, in a similar vein to Apocalypse Now.
