On this episode of First Impressions, I take a look at They Bleed Pixels, a challenging retro-styled platformer with Lovecraftian inspirations. The game takes cues from similarly challenging platformers like Super Meat Boy, allowing you to respawn and jump right back in seconds after dying. In addition to platforming, They Bleed Pixels also has a combo-based combat system that builds the meter that allows you to place your own checkpoints.
