Pokémon Scarlet & Violet came out on Friday 11/18/2022; while I got it late that day, I’ve now played through around six to eight hours of gameplay and wanted to share my impressions of this game. While there are a myriad of issues with gameplay, such as graphical integrity and framerate issues; the battle system, the characters, and the pokémon themselves are great. Join me as I discuss this game, while also touching upon whether or not this is Pokémon’s Cyber Punk and why end of life games for the Switch aren’t like previous end of life games for other consoles.
