The Nexus Hub team sat down with the colourful 2.5D platform adventure game, Yooka-Laylee and the Impossible Lair, and attempted to rescue Queen Phoebee's Royal Beettalion Guard from Capital B. In this no commentary gameplay capture we take on the tutorial and first level of the game and try out some of the combat and jumping mechanics.

Developed by Playtonic Games and published by Team17 Digital Limited, Yooka-Laylee and the Impossible Lair is a departure from the orginal Yooka-Laylee's 3D open-world platforming gameplay, instead focusing on classic side-scrolling adventure. Footage captured from the PlayStation 4 version of the game.
