What Is Cardinal Quest 2?
Cardinal Quest 2 is a modernized rendition of the classic tactical turn-based roguelike genre. It's a bit more forgiving and trimmed down quite a bit so you can focus on playing and enjoying the game as opposed to all the technical skill builds and painstaking planning that goes into some of the more complex roguelikes. With three story campaigns to play, seven characters available or unlockable, and an endless mode, it should keep you entertained for quite some time.
My thanks to the folks at randomnine for allowing me to get my hands on Cardinal Quest 2 and showcase it on my channel. As I've said, I'm a big fan of roguelike games, but usually things don't go so well for me. It's been a pleasure playing Cardinal Quest 2 as I'm glad there are less "hardcore" roguelikes out there to whet my appetite!
