The 2.2 version of 's has been announced by Kevin Chevreuil. Kaisen Linux is available with multiple desktop environments, containing a set of tools for system administration that can be used to diagnose and deal with failures of an installed system and its components. Minor bugs fixed, new version comes with many improvements in GUI and addition of exegol tools. Stating that they wish a happy birthday to Kaisen Linux, which is now three years old, Chevreuil said; He said Exegol is a French tool that deploys Docker containers very quickly to have a hacking environment with over 300 tools installed. In the version configured on 6.0.7 Linux kernel;GRUB 2.06, Minikube 1.28, Kubernetes 1.25, Virtualbox 7.0.4, Vagrant 2.3.3, Velero 1.10.0, Trivy 0.35.0, Shadow 4.13, Wireshark 4.0. It is available with software such as 2. It is stated that almost 100 menu launchers have been improved or fixed, while Chrony is now the default NTP client/server for Kaisen Linux instead of ntpsec.

The project aims to be useful for IT professionals and includes a set of systems administration tools that can be used to diagnose and deal with faults or failures of an installed system and its components.
Now, Kevin Chevreuil has announced the release of Kaisen Linux 2.2.
What's New in Kaisen Linux 2.2
Yup. The latest version of the project is version 2.2 and rolls back or simplifies some features.
zsh is no longer the default terminal for Kaisen Linux! It was since the first version of Kaisen Linux the default terminal, but most users asked to return Bash by default, which was done in this version.
Several polls on different pages of social networks were made for this. However, it is still installed as before (with oh-my-zsh) and it is possible to reset it to default.

The Conky theme is no longer installed by default with the GUIs, but it is a separate package called kaisen-conky which is no longer installed by default.
The reason for this is that user feedback has not been unanimous about the default presence of Conky in Kaisen Linux and therefore it is now considered a 'goodie' and can be optionally installed.
